1. When should I book my wedding vendors?
You should book you wedding vendors 8-12 months prior to your wedding day. Your wedding location should be secured first and then start meeting with wedding professionals. If you do not have 8-12 months to secure your wedding professionals, don’t stress, but the sooner you hire them the higher probability that you will be able to get the wedding professionals that you desire.

2. Should I tip my wedding professionals?
You should at least provide your wedding professionals that will be providing services for your ceremony and reception with food. Providing the vendors boxed lunches is always a great idea! You should also tip your professionals if you were happy with their services. Usually tips are 15-20% of the professional’s hired price.

3.What fee should I pay my officiant?
Depending on who marries you, the fee will vary. If you are getting married in a church, most of the time, they will have set fees. Officiants who marry the couple outside of the church have varying fees, anywhere from V$200-500 for the ceremony. Make sure you check with your officiant to see what his/her fees are prior to your wedding.

4. How do I select the right invitation for our wedding?
The wedding invitation sets the tone for your entire wedding. You don’t want to send a cute, casual invite to a formal ballroom wedding. Nor do you want a very formal invite for an outside daytime wedding. The style and tone of your invitation should subtly convey to the recipient what sort of wedding to expect.

5.There are so many wedding venues, which one is right for me?
What season are you getting married? Remember, in Arizona, summers are extremely hot, so having a ceremony in August with 300 guests outside might not be the best idea. Always consider all of the costs. If you are getting married in your parents’ garden, you might need a tent, a dance floor, electrical wiring for the caterer and band, and parking attendants. Sometimes it can be easier and less expensive to get married at a resort. Ask questions like…Can you hire outside vendors or must you use the chosen vendors by the venue. How long can your wedding last? Is there a backup for weather problems?
