Katie & Ian’s Wedding at JW Marriott Desert Ridge | Outstanding Weddings

From the minute I met with Katie and her mother Barb, I knew that Katie & Ian’s wedding was going to be extra special. It was an event we had to plan within four months and one we wouldn’t have a set date for until well into the process, as Ian was still attending Boot Camp. Katie and Barb pictured this special day as a classy, elegant and traditional affair. They envisioned the day in classic black and white with deep red accents. After brainstorming with them we came up with the inspiration for their wedding day. Here is their inspiration:

The day started with the bride and groom getting ready at JW Marriott Desert Ridge, which would act as center stage for their reception later in the day. We also had the amazing Melissa Jill on hand to capture the day.

Katie & Ian’s ceremony took place at the beautiful Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church.

After the couple said “I Do” they headed to a hide out spot before Melissa Jill and her team started their posed photos. During this break a ping-pong game ensued.

Once all the photos at the church were complete, the Bride & Groom and their bridal party headed back to JW Marriott Desert Ridge via Ollie the Trolley.

Guests received all their wedding details via these black, white and red pocket-fold invitations designed by Papercut Invitations.

Once guests arrived to JW Marriott Desert Ridge for the wedding reception, they were greeted with gorgeous centerpieces by Flora Bella and escort cards by Papercut Invitations.
