This weekend is the magnificent wedding celebration of CeCe & Ben. I have enjoyed the last 18 months of planning this wedding weekend with this sweet couple. CeCe & Ben’s wedding is taking place at their private home in Paradise Valley, Arizona. Their wedding will be filled with family and friends from around the world, and lots of very sentimental details. Camelback Flowershop will have the estate saturated with beautiful orange, cream and peach flowers and Wildflower Linens has created some amazing custom chair covers that I can’t wait to share with you!  The gorgeous day will be captured by Melissa Jill Photography with MT Sounds providing the music to fill the dance floor. We can’t wait to share with you the fantastic details of the weekend. But for now, we will leave you with one of their engagement photos.

Just wanted to give a quick shout out today to our amazing friend and Senior Lead Planner, Rachel Troyan. This girl has been such an important addition to Outstanding Occasions and we are extremely lucky to have her on our team. Rachel is generous, loving, smart, stylish, super sweet and always willing to lend a hand! We adore her, so please leave some love for her on her birthday :)

Today I celebrate my second wedding anniversary with my amazing husband, and thought what better time to finally share this wonderful feature in Bride & Bloom Magazine of my personal wedding?! I can still remember the excitement the day I peeled back the crisp new pages to see such a special day in my life in print. A few weeks ago the Phoenix WIPA Launch Party was held at Hotel Valley Ho with guest speaker Sean Low.  Some of our founding members including Dawn Peterson, catering manager at Hotel Valley Ho; Courtney Townsend, catering manager at Montelucia; Natalie Hall, catering manager at JW Marriott Desert Ridge, Carrie Smith of Wildflower Linen, Matt Davis of MT Sounds and Rachel, Jennifer and I got together to plan this fabulous event.  We were all so excited with the end result and couldn’t be happier to have such an amazing organization here in Phoenix.

The cocktail hour was modern and bright with linens from Wildflower Linen, flowers from Petal Pusher and chairs from Classic Party Rentals.

And look at this gorgeous cocktail hour piece created by Petal Pusher as well!!  Stunning!

The programs were designed and printed by Rene of Celebrations in Paper.

The beautiful florals were designed by Flora Bella (top right) and Table Tops Etc. (bottom right).  The bright orange and pink linens and napkins were again provided by Wildflower Linen.  The white Marbella chargers were provided by Cre8ive Event Rentals and the white chiavari chairs by Classic Party Rentals.  And how cute are the letterpressed reserved signs from Little Owl Letterpress!!  They also blind letterpressed 4×9 orange envelopes that were given to each attendee with the WIPA Membership information.

And the room was truly transformed by Quest Drape with the white drape!

We also loved the wrap menus that Rene of Celebrations in Paper created!!

At the end of the night, Torched Goodness, a creme brûlée food truck, delighted everyone with their arrival.  Drew Coleman of Life Design Events thought the sea salt caramel creme brûlées were fabulous!! :)

Before dinner, Jennifer and I thanked the founding members and the sponsors that helped to put the event together and spoke about how excited we were that Sean Low was speaking!!  Cre8ive Event Rentals provided the modern and clean staging and props for the event.

Therese Cole-Hubbs, owner of Electric Karma International and Director of Professional Development for WIPA, explains to the attendees the importance of WIPA.

And then Sean Low of The Business of Being Creative spoke to all of us about The 4 P’s of a Creative Business.  He did a great job!!
